Salicru has supplied 42 UPS units with an installed power capacity of 970 KVA, to  the new Vinalopo Hospital (area of Elche, Aspe Crevillent), inaugurated last June.

Medical services which where have been implemented are mainly areas of vital assistance like operating rooms or communications racks, but have also been installed in the dialysis units, ICU, hemodynamic or treatment room, among others.

Hospitals, health centers and clinics need to ensure a stable supply, continuous and reliable access to all elements connected to the mains, especially those that make their equipment more critical or life support. For this reason, must be equipped with systems to protect and continuity. The need for voltage stabilizing systems, uninterruptible power and power is more evident, if possible, than in other facilities.

The use of UPS in critical care areas such as operating rooms or interventional rooms prevents, in the event of incidents on the network, you suddenly have to reset a number of teams, some of which may be connected to patients. Switching from the network to emergency feeding may last between 9 and 18 seconds, ... A few seconds can be vital!

Similarly, its integration into non-vital support services is also useful: one example is the control of the identification documentation of each patient, as your medical history, supported by a computer system, which also requires protection against overloads or outages voltage that could endanger their storage in the general hospital system.
