Comsa Emte and Gamesa have reached an agreement dated on June 30, 2010 to come together to contest wind launched by the Department of Economics and Finance of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The consortium that will make both companies is to obtain a representative share of megawatts within the different areas of Priority Development (ZPD) established.

Comsa Emte company provide expertise in the wind energy sector, where the group has development business, construction, operation and maintenance, both in Spain and Poland. In turn, Gamesa will bring its experience of more than 15 years in the development, construction and operation of wind farms. The company has promoted so far in Catalonia 213 MW, built and put into operation 102 MW and plans to begin construction of 50 MW in the year. In addition, Gamesa is the leader in Spain and world leader in the design, manufacture and maintenance of wind turbines.
