The NiFe alloy terminals offer the lowest thermal conductivity on the market, so the device barely dissipates heat and allows for highly accurate temperature measurement (terminals made of other conventional materials, such as copper, add several degrees to the temperature measurement deviation).
The PEEK insulation of the terminals provides robust insulation due to its high adhesive strength, improving the device's reliability in high-humidity environments.
In electric traction motors, this NTC can be encapsulated or molded within sensors to protect high-current connectors.
