This represents approximately twice the accuracy of comparable products on the market. Furthermore, the device offers a significantly improved high-frequency bandwidth of up to 1 MHz compared to competing solutions.
Designed for demanding measurement environments, the MK500ID clamp meter benefits from Danisense's ultra-stable closed-loop fluxgate technology to deliver exceptional accuracy and reliability. Featuring a 39 mm diameter opening and ergonomic handling, it accommodates a wide range of conductor sizes while maintaining a current measurement accuracy of ±0.1%. Its high-frequency bandwidth meets advanced analysis requirements, complemented by a very low linearity error of just 20 ppm.
The unit is equipped with a 4-meter cable for flexible installation and features a power output via a D-sub-9 connector, with optional voltage output accessories available to support various system configurations. Built to operate in harsh conditions, the clamp transducer delivers consistent performance across a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C.
The MK500ID clamp transducer is ideal for a wide range of applications, including electric vehicle battery testing, power measurement and inverter efficiency assessment, as well as photovoltaic power generation and renewable energy systems such as wind and solar. Its clamp design makes it ideal for temporary installations, retrofit projects, and maintenance tasks, while also enabling precise calibration and on-site analysis. Furthermore, it addresses critical measurement needs in transmission and distribution networks, where accuracy and stability are essential.
Loic Moreau, Sales and Marketing Director at Danisense, comments: “This year at APEC, we are especially excited to launch our new MK500ID high-precision clamp meter. Thanks to its accuracy, exceptional phase-shift performance, and excellent high-frequency bandwidth, our new MK500ID is a very attractive solution for high-precision measurement applications.”
The MK500ID clamp meter is now available to order, with the first shipments expected by the end of June 2026. After that, the standard delivery time will be four weeks, as with all other Danisense products.
