KEY FACTS
• Running on Zebra’s Link-OS 5.0® operating system, Print DNA and PrintSecure make it easier and more efficient to update and configure printers for secure connections, block unauthorized access, and enhance the protection of patient data and infrastructure. The combination of PrintSecure with Zebra’s Asset Visibility Services (AVS), Operational Visibility Services (OVS), and Profile Manager Enterprise provides integrated security and management features.
• The ZD420-HC and ZD620-HC printers (available in direct thermal and thermal transfer models) are designed for ease of use. They deliver best-in-class print speeds while maintaining high print quality for prescriptions, lab labels, patient ID wristbands, asset tags, and more.
• Featuring disinfectant-safe plastics, a sealed button interface, and a UV-resistant housing, these printer models are easy to disinfect and clean, helping to prevent the spread of viruses in hospitals and clinics while supporting the increasing use of UV cleaning methods. Both printers include a healthcare-grade power supply compliant with International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.
• The ZD420-HC and ZD620-HC offer a key lock to prevent unauthorized access to high-value materials such as blank prescriptions. For added security, a locking slot is available for securing the ZD420-HC and ZD620-HC direct thermal printers to a table, as well as for LCD models. • The ZD420-HC and ZD620-HC printers feature a user interface with status LEDs, allowing users to save time and easily identify device needs to maintain proper operation. The ZD620-HC model is available with an optional keyboard for easy setup and a color LCD screen that displays printer status or detected errors for immediate troubleshooting.
Both models provide maximum uptime and device efficiency thanks to seamless integration with existing infrastructure through multiple connectivity options and backward compatibility with desktop printers from any manufacturer.
