The new B&K Precision battery analyzers are ideal for evaluating modern battery technologies during manufacturing, incoming inspection, and throughout the battery's lifecycle. The series features two models, the BA6010 and BA6011, which measure battery voltage and internal resistance with high accuracy, resolution, and speed. The BA6011 supports battery voltage measurements up to 300 V, while the BA6010 has a 6 V measurement range, ideal for cell testing. Both models are equipped with an intuitive front panel featuring navigation keys, digital and function keypads, a USB host port, a 4-terminal input connection, and a large 4.3-inch LCD screen for displaying primary and auxiliary parameters.
In addition, a number of built-in functions provide users with greater flexibility. For example, a comparison function evaluates measurements against a user-specified upper and lower limit for pass/fail (Go/No Go) testing. A trace function plots samples and records primary and secondary readings over a specified time. RS232 and USB interfaces (USBTMC and virtual COM) are also included, along with an administrator interface and an external BNC trigger input to facilitate production automation.
The BA6010 series is suitable for characterizing battery chemistries, including lead-acid, lithium, and alkaline batteries used in consumer products, electric vehicles, energy saving, security systems, and alarms.
