In addition to standard LC/IR measurement, the 11210 has a unique function that detects partial discharge (PD) or disruptive discharge that may have occurred within the insulation material during the high-voltage insulation testing process. By detecting PD of the battery's internal condition before electrolyte filling, defective products can be filtered out before they enter the next stage of production, preventing potential hazards associated with their use in the field.
Unlike traditional insulation testing methods, Chroma 11210 offers a completely new concept for battery quality inspection and evaluation.

With a large charging current capacity, the 11210 model can easily achieve high-speed testing with automatic execution of the test sequence. The sequence in an insulation test in the target application is "Charge → Dwell → Test → Discharge." This sequence can be executed automatically in 20 ms or less for a single DUT (Device Under Test), meaning that in tests performed on the production line, it can achieve processing rates of 50 pieces/second or more.
