One of the main features of the DAP-IM is the incorporation of overload and excessive temperature control of the isolation transformer, according to the requirements of international and European standards, IEC and HD 60364-7-710, as well as IEC and EN 61557-8.
This requirement for overload and over-temperature control of the transformer is usually required in international projects, and AFEISA has extensive experience in the manufacture and supply of equipment with these requirements.
The most notable new feature of the DAP-IM/T Permanent Insulation Detector is the incorporation of the Modbus protocol, which allows alarm signals to be repeated and the installation to be monitored from touch screens or SCADA programs.
Furthermore, via RS-485 or Ethernet network, it is possible to connect several DAP-IM/T units to a single display or to connect multiple displays for monitoring of the installation by the appropriate personnel.
Also available is the REP-IM/T, a signal repeater for monitoring signals in the medical room by medical personnel. The REP-IM/T provides the same information as the DAP-IM/T, including alarms and displays for insulation level, transformer load, and over-temperature.
