Designed to generate the most effective alarm signals available for use in Class I/II Division 1, Zone 1 and Zone 20 environments, the UL/cUL Listed alarm sirens and combo units are available with traditional directional sirens or omnidirectional radial sirens that generate uniform 360° sound dispersion.
 
The 117 and 125 dB(A) alarm sirens are equipped with four remotely selectable alarm channels/phases with positive or negative line channel/phase switching. They offer a choice of 64 alarm tones, including many that conform to national and international standards. Multiple alarm sirens, when connected to the same source, automatically synchronize. This latest E2S range features three conduit/cable packing entries and double terminations, enabling daisy-chain wiring. Threaded flame paths in the termination area cover simplify maintenance, inspection, and installation. Inside, the innovative internal layout provides a significant increase in wiring space.  
 
5- and 10-Joule xenon strobe lights offer high visibility with light outputs up to 1,000,000 cd. Available in seven colors (amber, blue, clear, green, magenta, red, and yellow), the UV-stable polycarbonate filter is field-replaceable. PA siren speakers are available in 15- or 25-W versions; input options include low-impedance 8- or 16-ohm and 70V line transformer.
 
All models are available with 10–30 VDC or 110–240 50/60Hz VAC power inputs. The D1xS1 and D1xS2 alarm sirens and the acoustic alarm of the D1xC1 and D1xC2 combination alarm and strobe beacon are approved for use in public fire alarm mode. The xenon strobe beacon in the D1xC1 and D1xC2 combination units is approved for use in private fire alarm mode. The mounting bracket and dome cover for the beacon are available in 304 (A2) or 316 (A4) stainless steel.
