RS's expanded portfolio, specifically targeted at environments such as automotive and other workshops and manufacturing facilities, including those in the food production sector, includes a selection of spill kits, powerful liquid absorbents, and control equipment. These are generally divided into three categories based on the spilled product: oil only, general/maintenance, and chemical.
Oil absorbents are designed to meet the needs of people working in garages and other outdoor environments, as they absorb only oils and other hydrocarbons, including gasoline, diesel, kerosene, greases, and hydraulic and engine oils, but do not absorb water or other water-based products.
The maintenance absorbent is capable of handling most spills, especially those involving multiple different liquids. It absorbs all general non-viscous and non-aggressive liquids, such as water-based products, cutting fluids or lubricants, coolants, solvents, oils and greases, as well as mild chemicals.
Chemical absorbents handle all liquids, including mild and strong aggressive chemicals such as acids, kerosene and detergents, solvents, oils and fuels, greases and lubricating fluids.
RS's new spill kits include absorbent sleeves and pads that offer a range of absorption capacities and can quickly and efficiently clean up oil, water, and chemical spills. The range is available in different capacities and formats. Refills for some larger kits are also available at an excellent price, and many kits contain protective equipment, disposable bags and waste bins, and marking tape.
To facilitate quick cleanup of liquid spills, a wide range of powerful liquid absorbent products are available, including pads for small spills, versatile easy-to-split pad rolls for larger spills, pillows, mats, granules, powders, and sleeves.
The range of spill control equipment includes drainage mats; collection trays; barrel insulation, including pallets, work floors or trays; insulation for large bulk containers (IBCs), including spill containment pallets; as well as specific bags and containers for the safe disposal of liquids.
