The device is easy to install and set up. Furthermore, it is particularly simple to use and offers an additional parameterization option via the Bender Connect app using NFC communication.
The LINETRAXX® SmartDetect RCMS410 is a compact and powerful four-channel residual current monitor capable of measuring alternating, pulsating, and universal AC, DC, and grounded AC/DC currents (TN and TT systems). It measures residual currents from 2 mA to 70 A in AC/DC currents at frequencies up to 20 kHz and has been developed for flexible use in a wide variety of applications.
Despite its small size and compact design, the RCMS410 is highly versatile. It can monitor up to four residual current channels simultaneously. Thanks to independently adjustable response values, it is possible to distinguish between pre-alarm and main alarm, as well as between the RMS value of AC/DC currents and individual AC and DC components. Specific analysis functions can detect harmonics up to the 400th harmonic. In addition to the four residual current inputs, the RCMS410 features one digital input, one digital output, and a multifunctional bidirectional I/O interface. Current measuring transformers (e.g., CTUB100-Series and CTAC-Series) must be connected to the residual current inputs. With its numerous interfaces, such as Modbus RTU, the RCMS410 can be easily integrated into both new and existing electrical installations.
In the RCMS410, the display and control elements are reduced to the essentials. Several colored LEDs indicate the current system status. There is also a test/reset button. The parameters required for electrical installation are set via Modbus RTU or via the NFC interface using the Bender Connect app (even when the power is off). It is also possible to preset the operating parameters to factory settings. Currently, the RCMS410 is available as a 24 V DC variant. Other variants are currently under development and will be integrated into the new product series.
