The FLIR ETS320 combines a high-sensitivity thermal camera designed for imaging PCBs and other electronic components with a hands-free, adjustable benchtop stand that enables consistent, non-contact thermal testing throughout the entire electronic component development, design, and production process. Offering more than 76,000 temperature measurement points, the FLIR ETS320 allows users to monitor power consumption, detect hot spots, and identify potential faults during product development. The camera's high measurement accuracy and ability to visualize minute temperature differences help assess thermal performance, ensure environmental compliance, and troubleshoot a wide range of electronic products.
"The FLIR ETS320 provides an essential thermal perspective for the design, development, and testing of electronic components and devices," said Andy Teich, president and CEO of FLIR Systems. "As electronic components shrink and power increase, it is imperative to be able to see and understand the thermal performance of these systems. Now there is a system built specifically for this community."
FLIR designed the unit with a rechargeable battery to streamline and simplify setup, enabling product developers to access immediate, real-time information on the thermal performance of their designs. The unit comes fully assembled and ready to connect to a PC running FLIR Tools software, which offers detailed data analysis, recording, and reporting capabilities. The integrated test stand and slide-mount design provide optimal flexibility when capturing images of both large and small electronic components.
