The camera mount is flexible, allowing adjustments to both the working distance and viewing angle, making the system adaptable to various situations. This flexibility facilitates mounting at distances of up to 5 meters, ideal for large objects such as pallets or even entire rooms.
The FlexView2 technology used in the Ensenso X has been refined compared to its predecessor. Z-axis accuracy has been improved up to four times, allowing its use on dark or reflective surfaces. Another advantage of the Ensenso X is its automatic focus assist and 3D camera calibration system.
FlexView2
FlexView technology enhances the level of detail in the disparity map of static scenes. The position of the pattern mask can be moved using a piezoelectric actuator, resulting in a variation of the texture on the object's surface. The Ensenso X captures multiple images of the texture in different positions. This process creates an image with a greater number of points, thus increasing the resolution. The matching algorithm then calculates the disparity map using these multiple captures.
