Carlos del Cañizo, professor at the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSIT) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), has been appointed president of the upcoming European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Congress, to be held from September 22 to 26 in Bilbao. Del Cañizo, who served as director of the UPM's Institute of Solar Energy (IES) for two terms (2009-2014 and 2015-2023), leads the Silicon and New Concepts for Solar Cells research group.

ROHM has announced the adoption of its PMICs in power reference designs centered around Telechips' next-generation 'Dolphin3' (REF67003) and 'Dolphin5' (REF67005) cockpit SoCs.
