In this context, AIMPLAS, the Technological Institute of Plastics, and the University of Valencia have launched a new postgraduate course that will begin on March 3 and run until July 14, comprising 140 hours of instruction. It is aimed at professionals with undergraduate and graduate degrees in science and engineering, as well as employees with more than three years of verifiable experience in the plastics sector.
This University of Valencia qualification aims to train specialists capable of working in the plastics recycling sector and addressing its challenges and opportunities. The course will be taught by faculty from the University of Valencia and researchers from AIMPLAS, who will deliver a comprehensive program divided into three main modules: plastic materials and their waste, mechanical recycling of plastics, and chemical recycling of plastics.
The teaching methodology includes in-person classes based on solving real-world problems and completing exercises. It also includes laboratory and pilot plant training, as well as visits to companies in the sector, theoretical and practical work, and the possibility of completing voluntary internships.
