The new e-learning platform is free, open to anyone who wants to learn robot programming techniques, and is available in five languages, including Spanish. Learning to assemble and configure a collaborative robot no longer depends on having access to a real robot or attending an in-person training course. The Universal Robots Academy offers the ease and convenience of registering online and starting to learn the basics of cobots, including how to configure end effectors, connect inputs and outputs, create basic application programs, and implement necessary safety features. The platform is not simply a passive transfer of knowledge to the program participant; the six modules are designed to provide hands-on training through interactive simulations to optimize the learning experience.

Universal Robots also offers distributors and integrators the possibility of requesting additional and complementary practical training, using demonstration robots at the company's offices in Barcelona.

The six modules of the Universal Robots Academy include:

1. Basic Knowledge: Features and Terminology: To gain a basic understanding of a robot's functions and terminology.
2. How a Robot Works: This core module forms the foundation for the others and teaches how to prepare a robot to perform a specific task.
3. Setting Up a Tool: To learn how to set up an end effector, such as a gripper.
4. Creating a Program: Provides instructions on how to program a robot using reference points and motion types.
5. Interacting with External Devices: To learn how to interact with external devices such as sensors and other end effectors.
6. Safety: Explains how to apply safety features to a robotic task.
