The training courses planned for the second half of the year will cover topics related to materials and their transformation processes, as applied by sectors such as packaging and automotive. They will also address cross-cutting themes of common interest, such as sustainability and topics related to laboratory testing and product quality.

In addition, AIMPLAS continues to offer postgraduate training such as its master's degree co-organized with the UPV, which will be in its 10th edition next year, consolidating itself as a UPV postgraduate offering with high rates of achievement and employability among the students who have completed it.

Specifically, the training program for this second semester will cover current topics such as legislation, recycling, food contact materials, and carbon footprint, as well as other subjects of ongoing interest to the industry, such as plastics processing and certification, and related developments like bioplastics and antimicrobials. Training courses continue to expand with versions in English and Portuguese, the latter specifically designed for the Portuguese market.

Postgraduate Training and Workshops:
Once again, the AIMPLAS Chair is launching its Master's program in Polymer and Composite Materials Technology to contribute to the specialization of university graduates. The postgraduate program comprises 875 hours of practical training in companies and 490 hours of instruction, both in-person and online. It boasts a high employability rate, with over 70% of graduates entering the workforce. Furthermore, the AIMPLAS Chair is funding part of the tuition through six scholarships for enrolled participants.

Regarding international conferences and seminars, AIMPLAS has scheduled its Charplast International Characterization Seminar for September 28 and 29, while the second edition of Plasrec, the International Recycling Seminar, will take place on November 15 and 16.
