As a leading electronics community, element14 is dedicated to providing its members with the latest knowledge and tools. An engineer's work extends beyond innovation and design; the process of validating, verifying, debugging, and testing new products is equally crucial. Therefore, this program aims to introduce community members to the world of automated testing, an essential skill for engineers involved in new product development.

LabVIEW is a widely used graphical programming environment that facilitates the development of automated testing systems for research, validation, and production. By enrolling in the program, participants will gain in-depth knowledge of LabVIEW and have the opportunity to create their own automated testing projects using it.

"We are delighted to partner with NI and introduce this valuable educational initiative to our community members," said Dianne Kibbey, Global Head of Community and Social Media at element14. "LabVIEW proficiency and test automation are essential skills for modern engineers, and we believe this course will significantly benefit our members in their professional activities.".

Open to all members of the element14 community, the program offers an easy-to-use learning experience. To be eligible for prizes, participants must work with the course materials, reading the lessons, completing the quizzes, and successfully running the final test automation project using LabVIEW Community Edition.
Registration for the program is open now until September 8. Selected participants will be announced on September 15, and the competition will begin. Quizzes must be completed by October 5, and project blogs by October 21. The winners of the program will be announced in November 2023.
The grand prize winner will receive Multicomp Pro's LabVIEW Base Edition software and MP720011 US digital oscilloscope. The runner-up will receive Multicomp Pro's LabVIEW Base Edition software and MP730424 EU-UK benchtop digital multimeter. All participants will receive Multicomp Pro's MP700393 4PCE ESD electronics cutting kit.
