The program offers numerous advantages to systems integration companies that wish to join, both in sales and technical support. These include, for example, being listed on the company website as a 'Preferred System Integrator' and the option for integrators to use the program's logo on their own marketing materials. The program also provides members with preferential access to training sessions and outreach events organized by Universal Robots, as well as commercial collaboration for the development of new projects and access to technical support.
Systems integrators wishing to participate in the program must meet certain requirements, including attending exclusive training provided by Universal Robots at their facilities in Barcelona. The training courses last four days and will take place during the first week of May, with repeat sessions in June, September, and November.
“Collaborative robotics provides industrial systems integrators with a great opportunity to specialize and grow their business, especially because it offers flexibility and ease of use that allows their clients to automate almost any process,” says Jordi Pelegrí, Business Development Director for Spain and Portugal at Universal Robots. “Our robots are affordable and designed to make robotics accessible to SMEs that have always viewed automation as too expensive and complex. The goal of this new program is to provide end users with the assurance that our robots are installed correctly by company-certified integrators, while also allowing us to promote best practices in the sector, expand our network of qualified partners in Spain, and support our partners in their marketing and sales activities for this innovative technology in sectors where process automation has been almost unthinkable until now.”
