It offers three solutions:
• “Conformal Coating” IP22: This involves applying a spray coating to the electronic PCB to provide a level of protection.
• “Silicone Coating” IP22: This is a more robust application of a silicone layer to the same PCB.
• “Potting” IP68: This results from a complete sealing of the fan's rotor and stator using epoxy resin. This sealing is achieved through an air extraction process, creating a vacuum, while simultaneously injecting the resin, thus sealing the entire space without leaving bubbles. This “potting” seal can withstand IP68 ingress protection levels, including salt spray and oil immersion tests.
