For its final design, several prototypes have been previously modeled, including models made with 3D printers and scale prototypes.
From a structural standpoint, the Orri, a unique model on the market, differs from all other existing range hoods because it incorporates perforations for air supply around the entire perimeter, for both central and wall-mounted models. Furthermore, another distinctive feature of this extractor hood is the innovative, internally named 25mm "perimeter plenum gasket," embellished with a black lacquer finish and illuminated by IP65 linear LEDs in the latest trends, lending maximum elegance to this essential tool for the most discerning and demanding kitchens (available LED colors: Warm Cuvée, Deepsky Blue, or Arctic White 4K). To make this range hood even more innovative and exclusive, the Orri has been designed with 100mm arched front edges. The front of the hood seamlessly blends with the two side panels thanks to the sinuous transition of the stainless steel surface, which flows smoothly and continuously around its entire perimeter. In this way, a constant line is achieved, making it difficult to know where the bell curve begins and ends.
As with all Morgui hood models, the Orri is made from a single, welded piece (reducing assembly time and preventing linear deformations, drips, and hidden dirt spots), 100% AISI 304 stainless steel, 1mm thick, with no angles (for easy cleaning) or visible screws, and double-folded edges to avoid unnecessary cuts. Its dimensions can range from 3 to 7 meters, although, as is well known, challenges are the intrinsic motivation of the Morgui Clima technical team, who always accept exceptional and customized designs to offer the best solutions to their clients. The extraction system of this hood consists of AISI 430 stainless steel plate filters with a high-performance design (490x490x50mm) and cut-resistant finishes on the frames and all the louvers. With a fully welded lower tray integrated into the hood assembly, any drips are collected by the perimeter grease tray connected to the tray.
The total height of the hood is 675 mm. Outside air is drawn in through a 250 mm supply plenum with a perimeter perforated sheet metal frame. The airflow surfaces are designed to prevent pressure loss and noise due to air velocity, as well as to avoid unnecessary drafts. This plenum is thermally insulated to prevent condensation caused by temperature differences.
The technicians at Morgui Clima are eagerly awaiting Hostelco to share their excitement about presenting this model, which is sure to win over even the most demanding chefs and distributors of professional kitchens.
For all these reasons, Morgui Clima awaits you and invites you to visit their stand 470D, at the FIRA de Hostelco (Barcelona), in hall 3.
