The TICRO 100 converts the Precise Time Protocol (PTP) into conventional time synchronization signals such as IRIG-B, DCF77, or various PPX signals. These timecode signals can be easily assigned to the TICRO 100's coaxial, optical, or optocoupler outputs using an intuitive web interface. Furthermore, the TICRO 100 provides a precise nominal frequency of 10 MHz for locking frequency counters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. In the event of a PTP signal loss or a network failure, the TICRO 100's internal, highly stable oscillator ensures the accurate local generation of time synchronization signals for up to 24 hours.
The TICRO 100 is fully compliant with the PTP power profile according to the IEEE C37.238 standard. Therefore, it is an ideal solution for synchronizing protection and automation systems in the electric power industry. In combination with the OTMC 100 PTP Grandmaster Clock with integrated antenna, the TICRO 100 offers a compact, flexible, and portable solution for generating time and frequency reference signals.
