This new technology is perfect for generating automatic alarms defined by temperature limits or ranges, which is crucial for detecting potential fires or heat sources. At the same time, MOBOTIX is providing a free software update to upgrade existing thermal cameras with spot thermal measurement at the center of the image.
Within the available temperature range of -40 to +550 °C and with a thermal sensitivity of 0.05 °C (NETD = 50 mK), distinct temperature conditions can be easily defined in the new RT (thermal radiometry) window or across the entire sensor image with a typical accuracy of ±10 °C. This allows for the simultaneous definition of up to 20 temperature events. The new RT thermal products also feature improved spot measurement, which measures the temperature associated with four pixels at the center of the image, with a typical accuracy of ±10 °C. These new releases will help prevent further damage in industrial and commercial facilities, manufacturing and logistics operations, recycling centers, forests, and more.
MOBOTIX Thermal Radiometry (RT) is available in its popular M15 and as a sensor module in the S15 dual-camera system. Additionally, RT is also available as the S15 PT-Mount sensor head. The two S15 thermal modules can be configured as a dual thermal system for greater flexibility or as the perfect combination of thermal and optical technology to ensure the most reliable results for both detection and visual verification.
