DAQ Click features the ADAQ7768-1, a 24-bit data acquisition micromodule from Analog Devices that encapsulates signal conditioning, conversion, and processing blocks in a single integrated circuit (SiP). It supports a fully differential input signal with a maximum voltage range of ±12V and excellent common-mode rejection ratio (CMMR). The input signal is fully attenuated with low input bias current, allowing the ADAQ7768-1 to interface directly with sensors that have high output impedance. Furthermore, the micromodule comes with a selectable clock source and programmable gain, output data rate, filter type, and latency options, all configurable via an SPI serial interface.

Nebojsa Matic, CEO of MIKROE, states: "For just $75, designers can experience the advanced data acquisition capabilities of this miniature system simply by including the mikroBUS™ socket in their design." DAQ Click relies on a mikroSDK-compatible library, which includes features that simplify software development, and is presented as a fully tested product.

Click boards are based on the open-source 16-pin mikroBUS™ standard for sockets on a development board, invented by MIKROE. They allow design engineers to easily change peripherals, reducing development time by months. MIKROE releases a new Click board almost every day at 10:00 AM, and many leading microcontroller companies, such as Microchip, NXP, Infineon, Dialog, STM, Analog Devices Renesas, and Toshiba, now include the mikroBUS socket on their development boards.
