This single-board computer (SBC) is a versatile platform for embedded development, whether for prototyping or scaling up. The PocketBeagle 2 is built on the Texas Instruments AM6232 system-on-a-chip (SoC) and provides faster, more efficient computing. The SoC features two 64-bit Arm® Cortex®-A53 cores and a single-core Arm Cortex-M4F microcontroller unit (MCU) running at up to 400 MHz with 256 KB of SRAM.
The PocketBeagle 2 also incorporates a Texas Instruments Arm Cortex-M0+ MSPM0L1105 processor MCU with a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), 32 KB of flash memory, and 4 KB of SRAM. This ultra-compact single-board computer (SBC) is ideal for wearable devices or smart sensors. The optimized 3.55 mm female header height ensures greater stability compared to the original PocketBeagle. The PocketBeagle 2 is powered by a USB Type-C® connection or a layer connector voltage input pin that provides 5 V at 1 A.
The debugging capabilities include a 2-pin, 3.3V, 1.00 mm UART JST-SH debug port and a 10-pin TAG-CONNECT JTAG footprint. This SBC features a power LED indicator, a battery charge indicator, and four user-controllable LEDs. The hardware also incorporates a LiPo battery charging circuit.
