Unlike traditional intelligent fan solutions, Advantech's iManager 2.0 runs on the controller chip embedded directly in the AIMB-201DS and can work independently to keep the intelligent fan running, providing optimal thermal protection for the system.
Advanced Intelligent Management - iManager Built-in:
The AIMB-201DS with iManager 2.0 provides a multi-level Watchdog Timer (WDT) for cutting-edge hardware protection by monitoring and minimizing code execution errors and restarting the system if they occur. The iManager 2.0 WDT will automatically restart an application, boot the operating system into protected mode, or completely reboot the system by sending an IRQ & SCI/SMI reset signal to the platform. The AIMB-201DS's advanced WDT provides multi-level protection capable of responding to different types of events. With the iManager WDT, the AIMB-201DS allows customers to perform soft boots and automatic restarts for their signaling applications if needed.
