This development kit includes the RNWF02 module, a low-power, 2.4 GHz wireless module that is IEEE® 802.11b/g/n compliant, fully RF certified, and designed for IoT applications. The kit's wireless LAN module is easy to configure and connects to the cloud using plain text (ASCII) commands. The development kit facilitates rapid prototyping with a two-wire or four-wire UART interface to a host microcontroller using Microchip's simple ASCII-based AT commands to dynamically configure the RNWF02 module for easy integration into most applications. The RNWF02 Early Access Kit features an integrated power amplifier (PA), a power-managed transmit/receive (TX/RX) switch, immutable secure boot with hardware root of trust, robust security with WPA3 and TLS authentication, and encryption with built-in IPv6 TCP/IP stack support.
