It offers a large active charging area with high efficiency and exceptional EMC/EMI performance. The reference design offers compliance with the Wireless Power Consortium's (WPC) Qi 1.3 Extended Power Profile (EPP) standard for 15W charging. It also supports custom charging profiles and is capable of delivering 50W of power.
The new P9261-3C-CRBv2 design incorporates a Renesas RH850 automotive MCU as the host controller. This enables the system to offer functional safety features that meet Automotive Safety Integrity Level B (ASIL B).
The EVK P9261-3C-CRBv2 can be controlled and monitored in real time via a graphical user interface (GUI). This GUI provides numerical readings of key parameters, such as the selected coil, transmitter status, input voltage, buck output current, Tx power, and bridge voltage. The GUI allows for easy programming changes and firmware updates. The GUI also supports tuning customer-specific variables related to hardware design, such as foreign object detection (FOD) settings.
