The enhancements to 3D ContentCentral include advanced search capabilities that allow engineers and designers to quickly and easily find millions of free, vendor-certified CAD models in all major 2D and 3D CAD formats, including SOLIDWORKS. The newly added eDrawings viewer, which runs directly in any browser and requires no installation, allows users to fully preview and evaluate models and options before downloading.
The new "Services for Suppliers" section of 3D ContentCentral offers enhancements to its online CAD catalog publishing service, providing three different subscription levels. Features of the Professional subscription include:
• Usage report: Contains data that suppliers can use to understand the demand for their products.
• Verified supplier status: Highlights a supplier's catalog within the community, improving their visibility among engineers and designers.
• Web syndication: Models from a supplier's online CAD catalog can be previewed and downloaded from their corporate website to meet the needs of their direct visitors.
• Disk space: Expanded storage capacity for uploading content, allowing suppliers to provide customers with their complete catalog of CAD models.
