Another new feature is that YSUP-PG generates AOI libraries directly from CAD data, ensuring greater efficiency and faster NPI by allowing teams to develop assembly and AOI programs simultaneously. Furthermore, YSUP-PG includes enhanced Gerber and CAM image conversion tools that generate high-precision simulated board images to further simplify AOI programming. The Gerber image tool has built-in image composition capabilities that automatically calculate how to construct the image from the descriptions of the different PCB layers.

Leveraging the precise knowledge of board geometry obtained by combining Gerber and CAD data, YSUP-PG digitally calculates push-up pin positions. These calculated positions eliminate the need for manual adjustments, traditionally performed by referencing a physical assembly, thus reducing user workload and accelerating the time to first assembly (TWA). The images also enable precise benchtop assembly testing, allowing users to verify component coordinates, polarity, and angles in advance, eliminating the need to build test assemblies and ensuring that full production can begin immediately.
