The acquisition is finalized today and will result in increased earnings per share for NCAB in 2022. Synergies will be achieved, among other things, through improved purchasing power, as Elmatica will gain access to NCAB's factory management in Asia and a broader factory base.

“We are very pleased to have acquired Elmatica,” says Peter Kruk, Chairman and CEO of NCAB. “It is one of the largest companies in our sector and, like NCAB, operates in the HMLV (High Mix Low Volume) segment. Elmatica enjoys a very good reputation in the market for its extensive knowledge and high quality. It will be a valuable addition to our Nordic and European segments and will strengthen our purchasing power with leading mills. We both share the same focus on high quality, and our business models and corporate cultures are a good fit.”.

"After building Elmatica over 50 years, the time has come to take the next step, and there is strong market logic behind this combination. NCAB will be a good owner for Elmatica in the eyes of both customers and employees," says Petter Hatlem, Chairman of the Board of Elmatica.

“At NCAB, we will gain a strategic owner with a global customer base, and together we can further expand the product portfolio we offer our customers. Both companies are built on similar Scandinavian values, with a particular focus on high-quality, advanced products and high customer satisfaction. The integration of our global manufacturing network, our highly skilled colleagues, and our advanced IT systems will further secure our role as a global player in the PCB industry. I look forward to joining the NCAB Group to ensure integration and expand and secure the supply chain for our customers, who are leaders in their industries,” says Didrik Bech, CEO of Elmatica.

Elmatica will initially be part of the Nordic segment and Elmatica's current CEO, Didrik Bech, will continue in his role as CEO of NCAB Group Elmatica.
