In 2025, Salicru celebrates six decades since its founding in 1965 in Sant Celoni (Barcelona), when Jacint Salicrú began producing voltage regulating transformers. Since then, the company has become a leader in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and power electronics solutions, with a presence in more than 130 countries and applications in essential infrastructure such as hospitals, airports, data centers, rail transport, and energy projects.

“Over these 60 years, we have grown while maintaining our innovative spirit and commitment to our customers,” emphasizes CEO Eduard Salicrú. “The company looks to the future with the same energy and determination that have accompanied it from the beginning.”

Salicru's trajectory combines industrial tradition with a forward-looking vision. In recent years, the company has strengthened its international expansion with new subsidiaries in strategic regions such as Australia, the Middle East, and Latin America, and has consolidated its production capacity with the expansion of its headquarters in Santa Maria de Palautordera (Barcelona), which now exceeds 20,000 m².

A commitment to innovation is another of its key pillars. Each year, it allocates around 5% of its revenue to R&D&I, a significantly higher effort than the national and European average, enabling it to offer solutions tailored to the challenges of electrification and the energy transition. Its rectifiers and converters have been incorporated into projects for major railway and energy operators, expanding markets for power electronics.
