These three LEDs, with wavelengths of 450 nm, 660 nm and 730 nm, set new standards in professional lighting solutions in greenhouses and controlled environment agriculture (CEA).
The LEDs are dimmable and controllable, allowing for precise adjustment of both light intensity and spectrum. Using the "Horticulator," available on the REDEXPERT online simulation platform, individual lighting profiles can be created and optimized. Spectral mixes can be precisely tailored to different plant species, growth stages, and plant quality parameters.
The new series is aimed at designers and manufacturers of lighting systems for greenhouses and vertical farming, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), container farming, specialty crops and research applications, as well as for algae cultivation and aquarium lighting. Thanks to their high efficiency, increased power output, and compact 3535 package, the LEDs are ideal for large-area, modular, and energy-optimized lighting concepts. Würth Elektronik collaborates closely with research centers. The new generation of horticultural LEDs also incorporates scientific advancements.
