Thanks to their long-standing collaboration, Arrow Electronics contributes its well-established ISO 15118 software stack to this solution, which has been developed for the next generation of EV chargers. Its compliance with the industry-standard Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) ensures efficient communication between charging stations and centralized management systems.

“There is a clear demand within the EV charging market for solutions that integrate hardware and software to reduce complexity for our customers,” stated Pascal van Kesteren, Senior Business Development Manager at Advantech. “That’s why we are excited to work with Arrow to deliver a complete SECC solution that accelerates innovation and simplifies development for our customers.”

Earlier this year, Advantech introduced its AFE-E420 embedded board with integrated dual PLCs. This computer is designed to address the challenges of integrating next-generation EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) thanks to its NXP® i.MX 93 processor with dual Arm® Cortex-A55 cores. This new collaboration, which successfully combines the capabilities of Advantech's advanced hardware and Arrow's ISO 15118 compliant software, will help accelerate the deployment of smart EV charging infrastructure.
