The AccuSine PCSn harmonic filter is a connected product within Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Power suite. The PCSn is a scalable, flexible, and high-performance active harmonic solution that provides reliability and efficiency to electrical systems by increasing uptime, improving operational efficiency, extending equipment life, and enhancing energy efficiency.
AccuSine PCSn offers several new features:
• Active harmonic mitigation: Enables best-in-class performance by reducing THDi to less than 3%. Built on the foundation of AccuSine+ technology, it guarantees a harmonic-free system, improves system reliability, and increases operational efficiency and uptime.
• Power factor correction and harmonic mitigation: The ability to set target values (setpoints) for power factor (cos φ), THDi, and THDv provides system visibility and control, ensuring compliance with utility requirements and optimal system efficiency.
• Load balancing: Harmonic mitigation eliminates harmonic currents in the neutral conductor; however, in a three-phase system with single-phase loads, current still flows in the neutral. Applying the load balancing function reduces the neutral current to 0, achieving a perfectly stable system.
