These new Micro-PDB modules consist of a connectorized system, which eliminates manual wiring; complete sealing with a protection rating compliant with NEMA IP6K7, a small, lightweight form factor, standard connector configurations, and a customizable modular design.
“The new microboxes are useful when additional power or circuitry is needed in a vehicle,” says Rand Wilburn, Molex global market product manager, adding, “They can also be used when space is limited in the main distribution box or to isolate power supply circuits from other components.”.
