This device is ideal for transmitting digital signals from its inputs to any remote point within a facility, eliminating the need for bus cables or wireless networks with potential coverage issues. The device's inputs are configurable and can read state-change (pulse) or level (contact) sensors.
The product features an advanced self-installation algorithm that allows installers or integrators to perform commissioning without a computer and with the flexibility to configure any input of an e-Controller with any output of one or more remote e-Controllers. Up to 26 devices installed using this commissioning mechanism can coexist in the same installation, although with a computer and a network interface, the maximum number of devices on a network is virtually unlimited.
The equipment is designed for any type of installation where there is a need to transmit control signals to remote locations, and can be used in applications as diverse as starting/stopping machinery, turning lights on/off, monitoring the status of sensors, etc.
The device measures 37x131x30mm and comes in a surface-mount box, allowing installation in locations such as false ceilings, recessed junction boxes, etc. It operates on a 95 to 230Vac power supply and uses the LonWorks® EN14908 data transmission standard for robust and reliable communication over the electrical network.
