The Vox Power NEVO+ series boasts full approvals from industrial and medical safety agencies. The two new modules will enhance support for new product design and the development of existing applications.
Previous NEVO+600 models used up to four isolated, configurable power modules to achieve up to 600W, while the 1200W model used up to eight. With the new OPA2 and OPA3 output modules, that number is reduced to two and four, respectively, allowing users to minimize cable and connection requirements, as well as the number of components.
The NEVO+600 delivers 600W of power output, while the NEVO+1200 offers up to 1200W. The larger model measures just 152.4 x 152.4 x 40.8 mm (6 x 6 x 1.61 inches) and provides a power density of 21 W/in³. Importantly for some applications, the NEVO+1200 weighs only 1.2 kg.
Key features of the NEVO+1200 include 90% efficiency, a standby power consumption of less than 3W, precise current distribution, and the ability to connect modules in parallel and in series. In addition to remote current and voltage programming, the NEVO+ models can be configured in the field. A low-noise fan option is also available.
For industrial applications, NEVO+ holds IEC/UL60950-1 2nd Ed, IEC/UL62368-1 2nd Ed, IEC61000, and IEC55011 safety certifications for EMC requirements, as well as CE/UKCA marking. Medical approvals include IEC/UL60601-1 3rd Ed for safety and IEC/UL60601-1-2 4th Ed for EMC immunity.
The Vox Power OPA2 and OPA3 dual-output 300W modules provide manually adjustable output voltages between 4.5 and 15V at 25A and between 9 and 30V at 15A, respectively. These highly reliable output modules (1 FPMH at 40°C with an 80% load) offer excellent load, line, and cross-voltage regulation, as well as protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, temperature, and short circuits.
