Weighing just 310 grams, the VCCS300S delivers up to 80% more power than competing products in the same package. It can be cooled by either convection or forced air, making it suitable for a wider range of applications and environments.
According to Brian McDonald, CTO of Vox Power, the new power supply achieves very high efficiencies of up to 95%, and when properly installed, its unique cooling technology effectively dissipates heat, allowing it to operate at full power in ambient temperatures up to 40°C. The power supply complies with UL/IEC62368-1 and several MIL-STD standards, making it ideal for harsh environments.
Connecting the units in parallel or in series allows for increased power output to 600W, 900W, and beyond, transforming the VCCS300S into a versatile power platform for products with varying power requirements.
