All modules in the RACM family are equipped with two independent protective measures to ensure maximum patient protection - (2xMOPP) - a necessity for maximum safety in medical technology.
Both series operate with supply voltages from 85 to 264 VAC and provide output voltages of 5 VDC, 12 VDC, 15 VDC, 24 VDC, and 48 VDC, which can be precisely adjusted with the potentiometer within a range of ±10% depending on the requirements. The high-efficiency modules achieve an efficiency rating of up to 93% and can be deployed at altitudes up to 5,000 m above sea level, with ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
The highly compact modules, with their 3" x 2" base area (open version), are isolated with 4kV 0C between input and output and 2.5kV DC between input/output and housing. They meet current requirements for medical applications involving patient contact (2xMOPP with 250VAC operating voltage, 8mm air gap, and creepage distance)
The modules have been certified based on the IEC/ES/EN-60601-1 3rd Edition medical technology safety standard and feature BF rated outputs for leakage currents below 75 µA. They are equipped in series with a Class B EMC filter and come with a 5-year warranty.
