The redundancy module decouples the power supply networks and routes the cable redundantly and separately to the consumer. In combination with the new Quint Power power supplies, the input voltage and decoupling path are continuously monitored. Thanks to proactive operational monitoring, the module reports on power supply output voltages, wiring faults, and decoupling paths. This allows for the early detection of critical operating conditions.
By using the S-ORING module, active MOSFET decoupling saves up to 70 percent of energy. Over Voltage Protection (OVP) protects downstream consumers from output overvoltages exceeding 30 V DC. With a 40 A current rating, the module is suitable for DC voltages from 12 to 24 V. Its slim design, only 32 mm wide, makes it suitable for DIN rail mounting. Thanks to its wide operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C, it is also suitable for industrial applications and offers flexible use. Protective coating and ATEX and IEC Ex certifications make it suitable for use in extreme environments.
