With their high power density, the power supplies in this family are the ideal solution for loads up to 100 W, especially in compact distribution boxes. For critical applications requiring high availability, redundant power supply systems are recommended. Furthermore, if the power supplies connected in parallel are decoupled via a diode, the load is unaffected by a potential short circuit at the output of one of the power supplies or in the line connecting the power supply to the diode. The diode operates with an input voltage range of 4.5 to 30 V DC and nominal input currents of 2 x 10 A or 1 x 20 A. The module is mounted on the DIN rail without any lateral gaps and can operate in industrial environments with ambient temperatures from -25 to +70 °C.
Fifteen compatible Uno Power 5-48V DC power supplies are currently available. Their high power density makes them ideal for compact distribution boxes, where they can power loads up to 100 watts. These power supplies reduce energy consumption compared to commonly available products on the market. This is achieved through low no-load operating losses (less than 0.3W) and optimized efficiency exceeding 90%.
Thanks to their power density of 240 W/dm³, the three housings, measuring 22.5, 35, or 55 x 90 x 84 mm (length x height x width), save space in the distribution cabinet. These current sources, with output voltages of 5, 12, 15, 24, and 48 V DC, are available in power ratings of 25, 30, 40, 55, 60, 90, and 100 W.
