The new PSK series, housed in a compact, board-mountable encapsulated package with industry-standard pinout, offers models with 6, 10, 15, and 20 W continuous power. Thanks to their compact size of 50.8 x 25.4 x 16.74 mm (2 x 1 x 0.659 in), these robust encapsulated modules are ideal for low-power ITE, consumer electronics, and environmentally conscious industrial control applications.
The PSK-6B, PSK-10B, PSK-15B, and PSK-20B series offer 4 kVac isolation, with no-load power consumption of less than 100 mW and operating temperatures at full load from -25 to +50°C, reducing to +70°C at 50% load. A wide universal input voltage range of 85 to 264 Vac is available with output voltages of 5, 9, 12, 15, 24, and 48 Vdc, depending on the series. They include UL/cUL and TUV 60950-1 safety certifications, complying with EN55032 Class B and FCC Class B radiated emission limits. All models come standard with short-circuit, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection. Calculated per MIL HDBK 217F, the 6W to 20W modules also include a minimum MTBF of 300,000 hours at 115VAC at +25°C ambient.
