The CoolX600 is certified to IEC60601-1 3rd Edition and IEC60601-1-2 4th Edition (EMC) safety standards for medical applications. Key medical features include a BF (Body Floating) rating, dual fuses, two MOPPs, and <300µA leakage current. Additional features include 4KV input surge immunity and the ability to withstand input voltages up to 300VAC, making it ideal for use in remote locations and areas prone to input voltage fluctuations.
Offering 25% longer lifespan than competing products, the CoolX600 sets a new standard in power supply reliability. Improved thermal performance is achieved with system fans or additional external conduction cooling. In addition to industry-leading efficiency of up to 94%, the CoolX600 provides the most flexible, highest-specification modular power supply on the market. Additional features include 24 watts of standby power (5V or 12V) effectively providing another output for system intelligence, cooling fans, displays, etc., 5000m altitude operation, and optional PMBus communications.
The CoolX600 can be mounted with up to four CoolMods, providing up to four isolated DC outputs ranging from 2.5V to 58.0V. In keeping with Excelsys tradition, the CoolX600 offers customers maximum flexibility and is fully configurable by the user and in the field. The outputs can be set to the required voltage setpoints and connected in series or parallel for higher output current and/or higher output voltages.
The Excelsys CoolX600 offers unparalleled flexibility to system integrators with analog and digital management, PMBus monitoring and control capabilities, and user-configurable plug-and-play power. Mounting options include base, side, and DIN rail mounting.
