The Volter 40 CHP gasifier superheats wood chips into wood gas, which fuels the internal combustion engine. This engine, in turn, drives the generator to produce electricity. The process also generates heat that our customers use for various heating and drying purposes.
The Volter 40 CHP is modular and scalable. The electrical output of a single Volter 40 CHP is 40 kW, and the thermal output is 100 kW. For example, ten cogeneration units form a Volter factory, generating 400 kW of electricity and 1 MW of thermal output.
State-of-the-art technology and a high-quality local support system ensure long operating hours and energy security. Its compact design, easy installation, and advanced automation provide greater convenience for generating your own renewable energy.
The Volter 40 CHP incorporates an advanced remote control system that offers greater freedom in using your CHP. Control and monitoring of the CHP can be done via a secure internet connection using your computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
Volter Space is a cloud service that enhances the data logging and monitoring capabilities of the Volter 40 CHP. It provides a clear and easy-to-understand view of the CHP's condition and key process values, such as energy production, power output, operating hours, utilization rates, and service shutdown tracking and reporting.
