It can operate in parallel and can be used in high-voltage constant current power supply systems, new energy industries, electric vehicle charging, semiconductor equipment, laser systems, and more.
To meet the diverse requirements of signal controllers on the market and to improve operational safety between controllers and output devices, the CSP-3000 series has been upgraded with an isolated circuit design for its voltage and current (PV/PC) adjustment function.
Key details of the upgrade include:
• Isolation design: The PV/PC circuit is isolated from the input and output terminals.
• Parallel operation: When the device is in constant current output mode, the current can be adjusted during parallel applications.

Next, we will look at two application examples:
As shown in Figure 1, this system is an automated solar cell testing and grading system. It incorporates five independent LED light source arrays to simulate the spectrum and intensity of sunlight. The system is equipped with data acquisition and processing capabilities, as well as electronic loads, to evaluate the performance of photovoltaic devices, such as solar cells, including metrics like conversion efficiency and VI characteristics. Each LED light source operates at 400VDC/2000W and is driven by five CSP-3000-400 constant current controllers, with light intensity precisely controlled via PC voltage signals.

Figure 2 illustrates the application of a centralized power supply with a high-voltage DC output for tunnel lighting. Due to the high lighting requirements at the tunnel entrance, a 7.5kW high-voltage lamp (VF: 210-250Vdc) is used. This LED lamp is powered by three CSP-3000-230 units operating in constant current mode and connected in parallel. Regulation is synchronized and controlled by voltage signals from a PC.
