The power supply, with a 1280mA (30V) output, high efficiency, and compact size, has two outputs: one to power the KNX bus and an additional output to power more KNX equipment. It operates within a wide temperature range of -30°C to +70°C, making it suitable for a variety of applications. LED indicators are included for normal operation, bus overload, and a button to reset the bus rail.
The KNX-40E-1280 power supply enables the transmission of information within a standard KNX bus system. This, along with interconnected devices using twisted pairs, allows for the monitoring and control of various systems within a building, including lighting, blinds/shades, security systems, energy management, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, signaling and control systems, surface interfaces, building control systems, remote control, metering, audio/video controls, household appliances, and more.
