The PCR/MA is a user-friendly, programmable AC power supply. Its compact design and light weight (only 6 kg) make it easy to transport and use in any workstation. It boasts a compact design that is maintained despite its maximum voltage of 310 V AC RMS.
Standard interfaces include LAN and USB, with an optional GPIB interface for easy integration into any test system. The LAN interface, built to the LXI standard, allows the operator to easily monitor and control the instrument via a virtual interface from anywhere. To ensure accurate voltage and current measurements, several features have been incorporated, including remote sensing.
The main features of the PCR/MA programmable power supply include:
• Compact design. 214 x 124 x 350 mm, 6 kg (PCR500MA)
• Selectable output modes: AC, DC, AC+DC
• Memory function.
o Three sets of output voltage, frequency, and limit values can be stored via the front panel.
o Up to 11 sets can be stored via communication commands.
• Versatile measurement capabilities. The PCR-MA can measure AC and DC output voltage, current, and power.
o When used with a digital interface, apparent power, reactive power, power factor, and peak current can also be measured.
• Low distortion factor. 0.5% or less
• Communication interface. LAN and USB (GPIB optional)
• Web server.
• Four models from 500 to 4000 VA capable of simulating waveforms from 40 Hz to 500 Hz.
The KIKUSUI PCR/MA family of AC power supplies, distributed by Kolbi Electrónica, offers a compact and user-friendly solution. They simulate all types of power supply conditions and measure the characteristics of the product under test. These programmable power supplies can be used in R&D, design characterization, and quality verification of electronic, commercial, and aerospace products.
