Unlike other triple power supplies, the MX100T's three outputs have the same power capacity, 105W, and each offers 0 to 35V and 0 to 3A. Range switching expands its capabilities so that the output can be configured to 16V/6A or 70V/1.5A for maximum versatility.
When more power is needed from an output, internal circuit switching allows up to 210W from a single output configured as 35V/6A or 70V/3A.
All outputs are completely isolated and independent, but voltage tracking of two or even three outputs can be selected from a single voltage control. This isolated tracking capability is very useful for creating voltage tracking to different ground points, tracking voltages of opposite polarity, or for outputs connected in series or parallel.
The MX100T features a large, backlit graphic LCD display that can show the settings of all three outputs simultaneously. Software control keys provide a quick and intuitive user interface that includes additional display modes and menu screens when needed.
Both current and voltage can be configured using the numeric keypad or the rotary control. Each output has a selectable remote sensor and independent overvoltage and overcurrent protection.
It includes a memory to store up to 200 configurations, divided into 50 for each output and another 50 for all three simultaneously
Each output has its own on/off switch, but there are additional control keys to control all three outputs simultaneously or any combination thereof. This function can also be used to turn the different outputs on/off in a timed sequence.
The front panel can be locked against accidental operation with a lock key, and even by password.
The MX100T power supply is housed in a compact enclosure suitable for benchtop or rack mounting (3U high and half a rack wide). A single or dual rack is available. The front ventilation intake allows for horizontal or vertical mounting without overheating issues.
The MX100TP power supply has the same features but adds remote control via USB, RS232, GPIB, and LXI LAN interfaces. It also includes duplicate terminals on the rear panel.
