Innovative technology with scalable production.
3D Architech's gel-based metal 3D printing technology enables the production of highly optimized metal parts with micron-level design control, leveraging existing 3D printers. This advancement allows industries such as data centers and green hydrogen production to improve energy efficiency, reduce production costs, and enhance device performance, particularly in applications requiring superior cooling and material optimization.
Addressing the industry's major challenges:
Projections indicate that data centers could consume 13% of the world's electricity by 2030, with 40% of that consumption going towards cooling systems. 3D Architech's technology aims to solve this problem. Traditional heat sinks, limited by millimeter-scale designs, are often inefficient. In contrast, 3D Architech uses a lithography-based 3D metal printing method to create micrometer-scale optimized heat sinks, increasing surface area and improving cooling efficiency. This innovation has the potential to reduce cooling energy costs by up to 60% while simultaneously increasing the production of green hydrogen by 30%.
Global Recognition and Future Prospects:
3D Architech has been recognized as one of the "8 MIT Sustainability Startups to Watch," earning it international acclaim for its contributions to sustainability. Thanks to its innovative technology and growing presence in the industry, the company is poised to make a monumental global impact, leading the shift towards sustainable and energy-efficient manufacturing practices.
Strengthening Connections with Taiwan:
In December, 3D Architech was selected for Taiwan’s Garage+ program, a platform that connects international startups with the Taiwanese industrial ecosystem. The company’s trip to Taiwan included meetings with several local companies and investors to discuss potential collaborations. “Taiwan’s leadership in manufacturing and innovation aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are excited about future opportunities,” said the founder of 3D Architech.
Since 2015, SGP has connected 284 startups with leading Taiwanese companies, providing flight subsidies, free accommodation, access to industry leaders, exposure opportunities at COMPUTEX, and three months of free workspace. The program focuses on sectors such as AI, IoT, Digital Health, Robotics, Smart Energy, and E-Mobility. Learn more at garageplus.asia/startupglobalprogram or in
